I bought a 2005 Dodge Ram 4X4 Thunderroad - These are a few 'walk-around' shots taken on April 28, 2005 shortly after I picked it up - it is big and powerful -

 I really loved my Dakota Quad Cab which had a very peppy V8 - And with rack and pinion steering, you could drive into parallel parking spaces - the Ram is a tank by comparison -

 The Ram is powered by a 5.9L (360CID) Cummins Turbo I6 Diesel rated at 325HP at 2900 RPM and 600lb-ft at 1600RPM - The powertrain is a 4 speed automatic transmission and an 11.50 rear end -

 The Ram is very nicely equipped - Click the sticker thumbnail for details (bottom line about $38,000 and my 2004 Dakota at Tate Dodge in Glen Burnie, Maryland)

 These pictures were taken before the following 'extras' were installed:

 * Clearance lights were installed (by the dealer, a freebie)

 * Harley Davidson Designer Punch Grille w/Bar & Shield (PUTCO 32573 from AutoTruckToys.com - $294 delivered)

 * 4x4 with Ram decal on the rear quarter panels (DecalDriveway.com 4X4010 black - $24 delivered)

 * Bed is carpeted with a Bed Rug and covered with an Ares hard toneau cover, which locks with the vehicle locking system (Truck'N Stuff, Annapolis, Maryland (800) 542-5444, about $1700)

 * Harley Emblem on the back of the front quarter panels ($24 on eBay to confuse all the Ford folks - lol)

 * Reese load-leveling and anti-sway hitch - Very big and very ugly, but it works well (under $900 installed by Recreation World, Annapolis, Maryland)

 * Jordan 2020 Ultima Brake Controller for the trailer ($108 delivered from rvwholesalers.com)

 The Jordan controller seems like a nice compromise - the more inexpensive brake controllers use intertia to activate (about $50) - the best, most expensive controllers connect into the truck hydraulic system (about $350) - the Jordan has a slide cable connected to the brake pedal - it's activated by actually pressing the truck brake pedal -

 And lastly, there is a Magellan Roadmate 700 for navigation on the dash ($990 from CarToys.com and included 2 Day UPS shipping, a Magellan RoadMate Carrying Case, Windshield Mount, USB Data Cable, Univeral Cradle, 110 V AC Adapter and a 12 V Cigarette Adapter)
